Leonardo Hotels Central Europe sets its sights on further growth

International hotel group concludes third partnership whilst also driving forward expansion in the leisure sector

Berlin, 28. February 2024 - Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is pursuing further corporate growth with the aim of allowing more travellers to experience the caring service and stylish atmosphere of Leonardo Hotels.

In January, the group joined forces with major Israeli institutions to form a third partnership. Like in the partnership entered into in 2022, the goal is to drive forward expansion. The group’s expectation is that the initial investment commitment of €246 million will increase to €400 million. This sum will then serve as equity capital for the acquisition of hotels in Europe up to a total value of €900 million. The main focus of the partnership, which bears the name “Fattal Partnership III (International) LP”, will be on growing a hotel group which embraces a warm and welcoming culture.

“We were delighted to be able to establish a third hotel partnership in January 2024,” said Yoram Biton, Managing Director, Leonardo Hotels Central Europe. “This will provide a vehicle for continuation of the dynamic growth of our hotel group. The investments will permit us to enhance our presence in Europe. Rather than solely concentrating on the business and conference segment, we will also be looking to the leisure travel sector. This is an area in which we will be boosting our offering and creating new services.”

The partnership will accelerate further expansion away from the core business market and into the holiday segment. Up until 2022, Leonardo Hotels were primarily sited in central European city and business locations. Since this time, the company’s inimitable and highly diverse portfolio has been extended to encompass stylish refuges at fabulous leisure destinations in countries such as Italy, Spain and France.

La dolce vita

Leonardo Hotels now operates a total of 17 establishments in Spain. This strong presence represents a strategic step on its journey to tap into Europe’s most attractive holiday destination.

Vive la France
The stylish Leonardo Boutique Paris Opéra only opened for business in December 2023 and is the group’s first hotel on French soil. Set in a central location and exuding the charm of a 19th century city palace, it acts as a haven of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of life in the French capital. It also forms a basis for further expansion in France, where the hotel group already has its eye on future openings in Paris and Marseilles. This new addition to the portfolio is being operated under the Leonardo Boutique Hotels brand, which impresses its guests with individuality, personal service and loving attention to detail. A feel-good atmosphere, high-quality fixtures and fittings and a timeless design are stylishly complemented by warm shades of colour and floral patterns.
